Finally found this place: Paris Commune, located in the West Village, is known particularly for their brunches, so I visited last Friday. Started with their homemade gingerbread and whipped cream (Oh my... so amazing) and for brunch enjoyed two poached eggs sitting on English muffins topped with bacon and country gravy, frites, and greens. Guys, this meal was divine. I'm taking everyone who visits me to Commune. It was so so delicious.
